Ladies and Gentleman,
It was my absolute privilege recently to fish with some of the finest military personnel from Fort Lewis, WA. The event was put on by the Evergreen Bass Club and The Cast for Kids group.
I had the pleasure to fish with SGT. Armando Martinez U.S. Army 62nd Medical brigade. He served an incredible five tours of duty in Iraq for our country! We had a great day of fishing and had a nice BBQ afterwards with raffle prizes for all the troops who participated.
Thank you Armando and all others who have served; we appreciate your sacrifice.

Local Dobyns Rods Pro Staffer Hernandez "Dez" Ruffin and his partner Tyler Walker (pictured above) recently took 2nd place in the Northwest Bass Tournament at Lake Washington. All of us on the Dobyns Rod team are very proud of Dez"s accomplishments and see a very bright future for him in the winners circle. Good job Dez!!!!

I am now working with Interstate/Optima Batteries for the state of Washington as one of my new sponsors. If I can ever help with a question or pricing of batteries, please don't hesitate to get a hold of me. My job will be to help all dealers in the area with sales. Auburns Sports and Marine, Pacific Boat Land, Spokane Valley Marine, Three Rivers Marine, Limit Out Marine, and the local Interstate dealers to name a few.
I am very excited to work with Interstate and especially Optima batteries. I will be educating everyone on those wonderful Optima's and why spending a little bit more makes good sense. Stay tuned!!!
Please remember to always mention my name to any of the dealers you are working with on behalf of my sponsors.

I recently had the pleasure to work (volunteer) at the FLW College Western Divisional at Folsam Lake in California. This is a College team tournament put on by FLW Outdoors on October 6th- 9th. The top 20 teams in the Western division earned honors to be at this event by qualifing through FLW College tournaments prior to the event. The top five teams at this event advance to the Nationals.

The team that ended up taking first place was Sacramento State and they received a check for $50,000.00, a fully rigged Ranger Boat and their entry fees paid for the National Championship.
The top five team finalists pose for photos at the FLW College Fishing Western Regional Championship. (Pictured below are the top five finishing college teams.Sacramento State is in back holding the winning check for $50,000.00.)

Each of the teams had their own fully rigged 2010 or 2011 Ranger Boat to use. My job at this event was to keep those boats in good running condition and I fished one of the days as a observer with the San Jose State Team. I traveled to the event with one of the best Ranger Service techs in the business, Mr. Willie Nelson. Willie taught me a few things and I learned just how much he knows about Ranger Boats. We are very lucky to have him living here in Washington State to help all of us Ranger Boat Owners. When Willie isn't working at the FLW events you can reach him at Pacific Boatland in Vancouver, Washington selling and servicing Ranger Boats. (www.pacificboatland.com)

It was truly an awsome experience to be around so much energy and to see all the excitement this event brought to the students of various western colleges. I was impressed with how polite and appreciative they where. For more information on this event visit www.flwoutdoors.com
In closing, I would just like to say thank you to The Hook Up Tackle (www.thehookuptackle.com) and Sniper Baits (www.sniperlures.com) for the sample packs and discount coupons that I was able to provide all the College teams.
Don't just take my word for it. Watch this video and you'll understand
why Ranger Boats are the best.
